THE PAHANG ART GALLERY (MUZIUM SENI PAHANG)
On 14 January, we all from DUP4 students had make a visit to Pahang Art Gallery to know about how the curator welcoming tourist and the way they delivering the information. The purpose of this trip is to give exposure to us as a Tourism student on indulging in Interpretation Services. In addition, in chapter 3 subject of Visitor Interpretation Services subject is about role and functions of Interpretive Technique & media.

History of Pahang Art Gallery:
This museum's collection is housed in an attractive
colonial-era building just north of the Padang. The museum focuses
on the state's culture, history and art. Look out for contemporary ceramics by
Mohd Roslan Ahmad, sculptures by Raja Shahanman and an exhibition on Orang
Asli, Malaysia's indigenous people.
Besides that, this Pahang Arts Museum is established
to further enhance appreciation of the arts and related works, and of famed and
renowned artists and celebrities. To achieve this goal, the museum plans to
exhibit and display works of art not only by those who are born or bred in
Pahang but also by national artists, painters and sculptors.
Pahang Art Gallery is a good place to hang out
for those who interested in art works. No worries no entrance fee required if
you want to enter this museum.

Friday : 9.00am - 12.15pm | 2.45 - 5.00pm
